Generative Music Composition

Over the past few years musicians and songwriters have begun experimenting with Artificial Intelligence as a music composition tool. At the moment use of AI in music composition and songwriting is still a cutting edge technology; but programmers working in collaboration with songwriters, or musicians that can code themselves, have made the process more accessible.

After researching hardware and software methods for building a Biometric Sound System, I think rather than going a full DYI route, that I should purchase the Muse 2 EEG headset and use the Ableton Suite software with Max/MSP.

Biometric Sound Project update. Muse has decided not to keep their project open and has removed all their SDKs and development links from their web site. The developers forum is still open at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if that goes away as well.
